A focused collection of responsive calculators that helps people understand loans, savings, investments, compound growth and GST—without an account or a complicated spreadsheet.

My role
Independent product design and frontend development
Objective
Make common financial calculations approachable, fast and private on every screen size.
01 · The problem

Financial calculators often feel cluttered, confusing or filled with distractions.

02 · The solution

I created a calm, focused interface that turns complex calculations into understandable inputs and results.

Key features

  • EMI & loan calculator
  • SIP growth calculator
  • Savings goals
  • Compound interest
  • GST calculator
  • Indian currency formatting

Design decisions

  1. 01Keep one primary calculation in focus
  2. 02Update results instantly as inputs change
  3. 03Use clear labels and familiar Indian currency formatting

Technical implementation

Built to stay understandable.

Reusable React calculator components keep validation, number formatting and result summaries consistent. All calculations run client-side.

The challenge

Handling edge cases without making the controls feel technical, while keeping large numbers readable on narrow screens.

What I learned

Designing financial tools requires careful validation, readable number formatting and a strong visual hierarchy.
